It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Selton D Long of Rainbow City, Alabama, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, Chalmus Long and Ruby Long; and his siblings, Gene, Weyman, Max, Billy, Theron, Arron, Bobby and Martha Lowe.
He is survived by: his daughter Belinda Seahorn (Danny); his grandchildren, Ben Brooks (Lydia), Daniel Brooks, Todd Nelson (Laina) and Hannah Guthery; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Jackson, Bastion Brooks, Lillie and Allie Kate Nelson; his brother Gerald Wayne Long of Georgia; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Spurlock of Pensacola and Carolyn Hitt of Hanceville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
