She was predeceased by: her parents, Z. L. Spinks and Ora Dea Spinks; her husband Arlen Nelson; her daughters, Jill Nelson and Cindi McClain; and her son-in-law Bobby Keener.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Noblitt (Eddie), Jami Keener and Eric Nelson (Rachelle); and her siblings, Karon Bagley (Claude), Doyle Spinks (Barbara) and Larry Spinks (Julia). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
