He is survived by: his wife Louise Gilbert Gibson; his daughters, Ellen Hawkins (Allen) and Beth Lee (Johnny); his grandchildren, Laura Hawkins Miller, Brett Hawkins and Elizabeth Lee; his great grandchildren, Mason and Chloe Miller; his stepgranddaughter Dr. Amanda Glaze; his sister Jane Waters of Destin, FL.; his nephews, Robert DeStefano, Dr. David Gibson, Steve Spratt, Keith Gibson, Donald Gibson, Ken Spratt and Jeffrey Gibson; and his niece Becky Watson.
