He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Fry and Roscoe Fry; his wife Debbie Green Fry; his brother Kenneth Fry (Donna); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Betts and Bobby Woods (Thelma).

He is survived by: his children, David Fry (Genia), Daryl Fry (Wendy), Lisa Fry Chadwick (Scotty) and Steven Fry (Christina); his grandchildren, Dylan Swindall (Amber), Jesse Fry, Baylon Fry (Megan), Kaylee Fry Howard (Bailey), Hayden Fry, Abby Terry, Cayden Fry, Summer Fry, Clayton Fry, Stella Fry and Dylan Chadwick; his great grandchildren, Brycen Fry, Bristell Fry, Colt Swindall and Parker Howard; and his siblings, Janice Fry Betts and Jerry Fry (Marla). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Red Cross, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Spina Bifida Association of Alabama.
