He is survived by: his friends, Lois and Thanksgiving; his daughter Lois; his wife Lois Euxene Rickrode Willingham; his children, Sheryl Lynn Holthof, John Martin Willingham (Barbara) and Thomas Jesse Willingham; his siblings, Myra Alcorn and Lester Killingbeck; and his aunt Virginia Giles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous special children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
