He was predeceased by: his former wife Billie Hand; his parents, Robert Hand and Farris Hand; and his sister Glenda Foster. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hand; his daughters, Krista Williams, Debbie Hand, Teresa Bornhausen (Fred) and Sherry Welch (Kevin); his stepchildren, Becky Haynes (Phillip), Shannon Livingston (Greg) and Kenny Griffin (Tammy); his grandchildren, Kaleigh Gordon (Griff), Peyton Colegrove (Adam), Casey Dailey (Cody) and Ashley Finegan; and his great grandchildren, Gray Gordon, Ryker, Cason Dailey, Kennedy Grace and Mary Ann Colegrove. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Rainbow City.
