He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Tidwell Grier and James Cleveland Grier; and his wife Cindy Chilton Grier. He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Gage (Asa) and Joseph Grier; his niece Leslie Varney (Jon); his grandchildren, Gabriel (Kathleen), Landon, Madeline and Collin; his great grandchild Lucina; and his brother Marvin Grier (Julie). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
