He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Cheeks Hill and Fred Hill; his siblings, Melvin, Ellis, Elbert, Leon, Junior, Vester Hill and Minnie Bellew; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Peterson (Juanita Peterson), Jack Peterson (Rhena Peterson) and Janice Peterson.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Hill; his brothers, Cleo Hill and Hoyt Hill (Joyce); his brother-in-law Ray Peterson; and his close friend Dottie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
