He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hare and Pauline Hare. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hare; his daughters, Lisa Tucker and Donna McClendon (Steve); his grandson Matthew McClendon; and his sisters, Alice Olivo (Rich), Glenda Pruitt (Lamar) and Southside. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riddles Bend Baptist Church, 5574 Riddles Bend Road, Rainbow City, AL 35906.
