It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Gray of Rainbow City, Alabama, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Connie Gray to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar Spurgeon and Lessie Lee Waller Spurgeon; her husband George P. Gray, Jr.; and her children, Cecelia Jill Rosser and George Preston Gray, III.

She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Johnson (Walter), Diane Papajohn (John) and Susan Carter (Glenn); and her grandchildren, Heather Higgins (Jeff), Ashleigh Gray, Chelsea Miele (Eric), John Papajohn, Jr., Nicholas Papajohn (Kerri), Stephanie Tribble (Kris), Paul Papajohn (Ashlyn), Joy Shanks (Rob) and Christopher Carter (Whitney). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
