He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Mickler and Geneva R. Perry Mickler; his sister Corda Ruth Mickler Clark; and his nephew William Scott Bussell. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Shinkle Mickler; his sons, William Mickler, Tyson, Aletta Mickler, Spencer and Madison Mickler; and his sister Donna (David Bussell).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
