She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Ruple and Lorene Ruple; her husband Jerry Wimpee; her parents-in-law, Raymond and Frances Wimpee; and her brother-in-law R. E. "Gene" Wimpee.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Wimpee, Jr. (Amanda); her grandsons, Christopher and Jace Wimpee; her siblings, Bobby Ruple (Shirley) and Gloria Miller (Alan); and her sister-in-law Loretta Wimpee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers may be delivered to Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coosa Valley Baptist Church.
