He is survived by: his wife Sharon LaVelle Simmons; his son Scott (Dana) of Powder Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Stephanie Lindell (Jarron) of Powder Springs, GA and Sean Simmons of Powder Springs, GA; his great grandchild Blakely Lindell of Powder Springs, GA; and his brothers, Bill Simmons (Peggy) of Muncie, IN and Junior Simmons (Janny) of Eaton, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
