He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hawkins and Miniola Hawkins; and his daughter Georgia Isbell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brewster Hawkins; his daughter Nancy Clark (Randy); his stepdaughters, Katherine Alverson (Kenneth Burton), Amanda Maddox (Bobby) and Beatrice St. John (Jayme); and his brothers, Donald Hawkins, John Hawkins (Ann), Elvis Hawkins (Connie) and Fred Hawkins (Vickie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Refuge Baptist Church.
