He was predeceased by: his parents, Harve Campbell and Melda Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Joan Campbell; his sons, Jimmy Shane Campbell (Stacey) and Jeremy Jay Campbell; his grandsons, Johnathan Blake Campbell and Joshua Chase Campbell; and his sisters, Margaret Buttram, Linda Tollison, Wanda Dailey and Connie Bowlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
