She was predeceased by: her parents, Bunza Muranaka and Yaeko Muranaka; and her husband Robert E. Phillips. She is survived by: her daughter Robin Phillips Fielder; her grandchildren, Seth Ulrich, Mikal Ulrich and Zachary Christopher; her great grandchildren, Preslie, Juliette and John-Luke; her siblings, Hisano Fukushima, Takiko Muranaka, Akiyo Welsh and Minoru Muranaka; and her sister-in-law Barbara Gutherie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
