She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Phillips and Charlsie Phillips; and her brother Donnie Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Roy Alverson; her son Michael Thad Alverson; her grandchildren, Shelby, Cainan, Trace Alverson and Caleb Shadrix; her sisters, Janice Howard and Jeannie Phillips; her niece Jamie Byers (Jarvis); her nephew Chad Bean (Suzi); her great-niece Trinity Byers; and her great-nephews, Javonte and Jordan Byers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
