She was predeceased by: her husband Buel Fay Parnell; her parents, Charles Douglas and Georgia Douglas; her siblings, Inez Douglas and Charles Douglas; and her granddaughters, Autumn Parnell Campbell, Leah Daffron and Carla Daffron.

She is survived by: her children, Denice Parnell Daffron (Rodney) and Wayne Parnell (Thelma); her sister Betty Jackson; her grandchildren, Casey Daffron (Christy) and Zachary Parnell (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Montana Parnell, Logan Phillips, Grant Daffron, Griffin Daffron, Rider Parnell, Michele Parnell and Mary Parnell; her great great grandchild Xander Nowlin; and her sister-in-law Christine Parnell. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
