He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Mealer, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Mary Joyce Mealer of Gorgas; his wife Kamie Shannell Mealer of Quinton; his children, Emily Michelle Mealer of Anaheim, CA and John Benjamin Mealer of Tuscaloosa; and his sister Joy Anne Mealer of Gorgas. He is also survived by three stepchildren and one step grandson, and other relatives and friends.
