He is survived by: his wife Judy Carolyn Reese; his children, Michele Reese Swindle (Michael), Sue Reese Counts (Paul), Brenda Reese Dozier, Kathy Reese Todd, Alfred Reese and Larry Reese (Melissa); his sisters, Annie Reece and Shirley Roden (Robert); his sisters-in-law, Betty Miles, Johnnie Bea Watts and Janice Barnett; and his close friend Tim Benton.
