She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Brasfield; her daughter Vicki Brasfield; her parents, Arthur Harrison and Atlas Harrison; and her sisters, Myra Rogerine Corley, Margret Johnson and Eleanaor Davies.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Michael Brasfield of Jasper, Bradley Brasfield of Tuscaloosa, Scott Brasfield of Tuscaloosa and Joe Brasfield of Tuscaloosa. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild.
