He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Frann Blankenship Holt; his daughter Bashan Holt Duren (Jason); his siblings, Van Holt (Jan), Jessica Johnson (A. D.), Brenda McCleskey (Danny) and Evelyn Johnson (Gary); his sisters-in-law, Shirley Holt and Sharon Holt; and his grandchild Ellee Kate Duren Hosts. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home or to The Gideons International.
