She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard America and Lillian America; her husband R. C. McMillan; and her brothers, William, Henry, Richard Jr. and Sammy D. America (Maggie).
She is survived by: her children, Classy Preston (Jay), Carolyn Jackson (Angelo), Brenda Neal (Robert), Linda Warren (Juan), Frederick McMillan, Trudy Ward (Harold), Cederick McMillan and Anthony McMillan (Carla); and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Washam, Margert McMeans, Betty Lambert, Rutelia America, Francina America and Langston Johnson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
