He is survived by: his wife Melinda; his sons, Xavier Jr. Poellnitz (Stefannie) of Semmes, AL and Jairus Poellnitz of Mobile, AL; his grandsons, Dylan Lucas and Grayson Poellnitz; his siblings, Donna Johnson (Curtis) of Mobile, Stephanie Poellnitz Danzy of Mobile and Tyrone Poellnitz; and his nephew Bryan Keith Dawson (Karen) of Moss Point, MS..
