He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dan Campbell and Mary Jeannette Lubert Campbell; his wife Cathy Campbell; and his son David LaRue. He is survived by: his daughters, Misty Chadwick (Darrell), Pepper Pouncey and Kimberly Morgan (Terry); and his sister Mary Gantt (W. F. "Butch"). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren & twenty great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alabama Cancer Society in his memory.
