He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Freeman and Annie Lee Scoggins Freeman; his sister Frances Jane Freeman (Hollingsworth); and his granddaughter Rebecca Nicole Merren. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Hines Freeman; his children, Wanda Lynn Freeman (Brad) and William Scott Freeman (Heather); his siblings, Johny W. Freeman (Sarah) and Joyce A. Freeman (Jerry); his grandchildren, Hannah A. Merren Adkins (Trey), William Colby Freeman and Stephen Connor Freeman; and his great grandchild Stetson Joseph Adkins.
