She was predeceased by: her daughter Marla Shannon Melton; her father Roy Yancy Shivers (Mother Sasser Shivers); and her brother Gary Bryan Shivers. She is survived by: her daughter Brandy Melton (Robin) of Prattville; her sister-in-law Judy Shivers of Goodwater; her niece Dawn Shivers Lane (Michael) of Villa Rica, GA; and her close friend Sandra Ayers of Alex City.
