He is survived by: his children, Jerry Thomas Smitherman (Amy) of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Patricia Jean Weist (Jake) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his mother Annette Smitherman of Jesup, Georgia; his sister Susan Albert (Jonathan) of Jesup, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Madison Smitherman of Washington State, Danika Smitherman of Tuscumbia, Logan Curenton of Prattville, Kristian Whitehurst of Prattville, Liz Wright, Ramona Martin, Jerry Lee and Ethan Garner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Prattville Memorial Chapel and Memory Gardens (841 Fairview Ave, Prattville, AL 36066). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Prattville Memory Gardens (841 Fairview Ave, Prattville, AL 36066).
