With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred Morris Cook of Prattville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Richard Alfred Cook; and his parents, Morris Cook and Mina Cook. He is survived by: his wife Esther McFarland Cook; his children, Jerry Cook (Debby), Selena Gray (Greg) of Prattville, Teresa Cook of Prattville and Sheila Simersky (Frank) of Prattville; and his siblings, Bob Cook (Shirley), Sybil Lee (Frank) and Margaret Andrews. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellow award for his dedicated Humanitarian Service in the Lions Club International Foundation.
