He was predeceased by: his parents, Dyas Carden and Mary Carden of Scarsdale, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Sivewright; his sons, John Jr. (Debbie Carden), Timothy (Susan Carden) and Kevin (Kim Carden); and his sisters, Jennifer Rogers of Princeton, NJ and Patience Beer of Clarkston, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Fairhope, AL, Little Sisters of the Poor of Mobile or The Shrine of the Holy Cross in Daphne, AL.
