She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Parsons and Irene Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Jean Dempsey McLeod, Terri Salter (Tom), Paula Moore (Joel) and John Dempsey, Jr. (Renee); her grandchildren, Ken Salter (Allison), Brooke Salter (Alex), John Dempsey III of Amanda Irvin, R. J and McConatha; and her friend Ruby Annette Fulton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and beloved friends.
