She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Parsons and Irene Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Jean Dempsey McLeod, Terri Salter (Tom), Paula Moore (Joel) and John Dempsey, Jr. (Renee); her grandchildren, Ken Salter (Allison), Brooke Salter (Alex), John Dempsey III of Amanda Irvin, R. J and McConatha; and her friend Ruby Annette Fulton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Forest Grove Memorial Gardens (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127).
