He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Adams, Sr. and Ruth E. Adams; his daughter Deborah Elizabeth "Lisa" Adams Phillips; and his wives, Judy Hawkins Adams and Mary Smith Adams.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathi Sloan Tanner (Steve); and his grandchildren, Elise Tanner (Jack) and Nicholas Tanner (Elonica).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God (611 Pleasant Grove Rd, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
