We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2022, at the age of 92, Leon Dansby of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, born in Ozark, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulus O'Neal Dansby and Edna Irene Wilkinson Dansby; his granddaughter Georgia Marie Nolin; and his brothers, Wayne Dansby and John Dansby.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nichols Dansby; his children, Lorna Nolin (Frank) of Mexico Beach, FL, Jill Knopp (John) and Neal Dansby (Jennifer) of Red Level, AL; his sisters, Myrl Silavent, Carolyn Trolinger (Ben) of Lake Martin, AL, Brenda Munson and Virginia; his grandchildren, Grant Nolin (Anne-Marie), Amanda Kirschke (Nate), Elliott Dansby (Jenny) and Judith Anne Fick (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Fountain, Lyla Fountain, Liam Kirschke, Tim Nolin, Taylor Nolin, Lottie Dansby, Gil Dansby, Julian Fick and Douglas Fick; and his sister-in-law Martie Nichols.
