He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Shelton and Annie Ruth Chappell Usry; and his son Bobby Scott Usry. He is survived by: his wife Linda Usry; his daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Usry; his siblings, Annie Lloyd Capps and Ronald Usry (Judy); and his pet Monkey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church (452 9th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
