He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father PawPaw; his significant other Ruby Barrett Dickerson; his children, Jimmy Louis Dickerson (Sandy), Dave Dickerson (Teresa) and Sue Powell (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lee Powell (Kim), Jimmy Dickerson, Matt Powell (Jessica), Danny Dickerson (Stephanie), Lindsay Lovoy (Louie), Patrick Dickerson and Brittney Blevins (Adam); and his sisters, Alice Williams, Ruth McCleskey and Bobbie Barrett. He was also cherished by fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove Al.
