It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Evelyn Cook Wheeler (Pleasant Grove, Alabama), who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Grant Wheeler, Sr.; her parents, William Emory Cook and Charlcy Evelyn Cook; her daughter-in-law Dr. Tara Jernigan Wheeler; her siblings, Kent Cook (Opal), Kyle Cook (Isabell), Harris Cook (Mary), Norman Cook (Bobbie), Hilda Morden (Ed) and Allene Wheeler (Wilson); and her brother-in-law Fred L. Stanford.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Wheeler, Jr. (Frances), Pam Johnson (Randy), Debbie Coppock (Doug), Scott Wheeler (Robin) and Brian Wheeler (Tara); her grandchildren, Joseph Wheeler, III (Melinda), Amanda Marcum (Mitchell), Emily Brown (Chris), Jared Johnson (Danielle), Andrew Johnson (Aubrey), Kerry Johnson (Jasmine), Grant Coppock (Kristin), Amy Piper (Erik), Haley Hinton (Jake), Hannah Kinard (Davy), Christopher Wheeler (Lacy), Ben Wheeler (Destiny) and Morgan Strawbridge (John David); her great grandchildren, Addisyn, Ryan, Henry, David, Isabella, Evelyn Claire, Lily, Waylon, Elsie Kaye, Kyah, Chase, Gage, Bryce, Ava, Eva, Charlie, Sarah, Amelia, Caroline, Cora, Catherine, Abby and Brooks; and her great great grandchild Eli. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
