He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Granddaddy; his wife Catherine South; his father Kelly South; his brother Dwin South; his daughter-in-law Rebecca South; his grandson David South; and his children, Jerry South (Ming), Robin South, Kay South Hardy (Jay) and Bonnie South Payne (Benny). He was also cherished by his ten grandchildren; his eleven great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews.
