It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Hatfield in Plantersville, Alabama, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert C. Hatfield and Lula Dee Belcher; and his wife Mary Bender Hatfield. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa I. Hayes (Glen); his grandchildren, Ashley Evans and Tyler Thrash; his great grandchildren, Lilliana, Kane and Bella; his brothers, Randy Hatfield (Renata) and Greg Hatfield (Sandy); and his cousins, Don and Belinda Davis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Summerfield Baptist Church (72 Main St, Valley Grande, AL 36701).
