He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Wallace and Ida Mae Williams Wallace; and his siblings, Voncile Wallace Bryant, Eddie Lee Wallace and Johnny Horton.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Edward "Buddy" Wallace, Jr. of Deatsville, Katherine Lynn Abbott of Maplesville, Ronald Wallace of Maplesville, Donald Wallace of Jemison, Victory Cornell Wallace of Clanton and David Harold Wallace of Clanton.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private burial will take place in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. The family plans to host a memorial gathering once the pandemic restrictions are lifted.
The family request in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Dale's memory to the Children's Hospital of Alabama or the Jimmie Hale Mission in Birmingham.
