She was predeceased by: her parents, William Watson Pierson and Mary Shivers Pierson; and her sister Karen Pierson Simmons. She is survived by: her son David Pierson; her grandson Devin Pierson; her brother-in-law Bennie Simmons; her nephew Ben Simmons (Julie); her nieces, Kathy Simmons Webber (Bobby) and Kristie Simmons McElroy (Ronnie); and her friends, Christy, Tommy and Lauren Missildine.
