He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Joseph Smedley and Lucretia Cheney Smedley. He is survived by: his wife Jamar Carroll Smedley; his daughter Cheney Smedley Hoffman (Bo); his granddaughters, Callen Hamilton and Madelynn Hamilton; his siblings, Linda Walker (Mike), Ruby Jo Caver (George Larry), David Smedley (Brenda), Karen King and Lucretia Cleckler (Evan); and his parents-in-law, Noodie and Nell Carroll. He is also survived by nephews, other relatives, and friends.
