She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Thomas and Julia Richardson Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Stella Mae Lewis (Albert), Landy Mellion (Charlie Lee), Richard Lee Averett (Cassandra) and Joe Lee Averett (Brenda); and her sister Mary Bell Thomas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
