With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joesph Ivey (Pittsview, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ivey and Nettie Mae Ivey; and his siblings, Peter Ivey and Callie Ivey. He is survived by: his children, Tarsha Hall of Pittsview, AL, QuayShawn Ivey of College Park, GA and Sedrick Ivey (Valencia) of Smiths Station, AL; his grandchildren, Kayla, Kourtney, Kyrea Hall of Pittsview, AL and Takia Ivey of Phenix City, AL; his siblings, Willie Ivey (Linda), Henry Ivey of Phenix City, AL, Ruthers Ivey (Deloise) of Pittsview, AL, Betty Mallory of Detroit, MI and Lonie Wiggins (Charlie) of Columbus, GA; and his former wife Barbara Ivey. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (474 Antioch Rd, Pittsview, AL 36871).
