She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Tillman and Alma Thornton Tillman; her son Michael Scott Slaughter; and her siblings, Clarence Tillman, John Tillman, Betty McCown, Madge Knowles and Barbara Moss.
She is survived by: her husband Dock B. Slaughter of Pittsview, AL; her granddaughters, Paige Bonner, Shannon Edwards and Emily Slaughter; and her daughter-in-law Rita Slaughter. She is also survived by great grandchildren, (2) great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
