With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Russell Forbes of Pittsview, Alabama, born in Eufaula, Alabama, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Harrison Forbes and Elizabeth Ann Spurlock Forbes; and his grandmother Marie Duncan Forbes Coles. He is survived by: his wife Melinda McDaniel Forbes of Pittsview, AL; his children, Tara Forbes, Amanda Dickens (Chris), Brianna Phillips (Michael) and Tyler Forbes; his sisters, Lisa Anderson (Delbert), GiGi Renae Duey (Dwain), Amanda Kenny (Sean) and Kristy Forbes; and his grandchildren, Blaine Dickens, Mary Callen Dickens, Jordan Phillips, Jase Phillips and Charlotte Dickens. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to Pittsview United Methodist Church, 62 Leconte Street, Pittsview, AL 36871.
