He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Preavy; his children, Cathy Fortner, Todd Preavy of Pittsview, AL, Brian Preavy of Pittsview, AL, Dylan Preavy of Pittsview, AL, Dewey Gilbert of Pittsview, AL, Jessie Timbrook of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Janice Gilbert of Pittsview, AL; his siblings, Gail Forgay (Lanny) of Vermont, Karen Root of Vermont, Lynn Blouc (Mike) of Vermont, Kim Carrier (Timothy) of Vermont, Ronnie Preavy (Diane) of Vermont, Wayne Preavy (Ruth) of Vermont and Creaig Preavy (Robin) of Vermont; his grandchildren, April, Kendall, Cassie, Mary Rae and John; and his great grandchildren, Pheo and Aaron. He is also survived by several extended family and friends.
