She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Lee Garnett; her son Britt Garnett; her grandsons, Josh and Dylan; her parents, L. Heard Godwin and Vera Godwin (Hale); and her brothers, Houston Godwin and Pete Hale.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Garnett (Debbie), Tommy Garnett (Cheryl) and Scott Garnett (Debbie); and her brother Hank Holland. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
