He was predeceased by: his son Dustin Townson; and his father James Lester Townson. He is survived by: his wife Marsha McCurdy Townson; his daughter Amber Townson Gilbert; his mother Claudene Wootten Townson; his brothers, Phil Townson (Danette) and David Townson (Sherri); and his brother-in-law Tommy Curry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
