He is survived by: his wife Joan Hicks Griffis; his children, Meredith Adams, Michael Griffis and Layne Griffis (Kelley); his grandchildren, Dallen Griffis (Cassie) and Kaylea Griffis; his siblings, Sandra Hawkins, Elizabeth Durham (Leslie) and Royce Williams; and his sister-in-law Theresa Griffis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
