He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. "Bear" and Mary Ellen Arnold McCrary; his grandson Taylor McCrary; and his siblings, Fern Norman, Jewell Adams, Faye Dobbins, Earnestine Roberts, Mary Abney, Leroy McCrary and Wayne McCrary.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Posey McCrary; his children, Stacy McCrary (Leslie) and Deirdra McCrary; his grandchildren, Colby McCrary, Lillie McCrary and Caleb McCrary; his great grandchild Gracelynn Graham; and his sister Laura Timberlake (Tommy).
